You do not need a reason to have a family portrait taken. You just need to decide that this year, you will have one — because next year they will be different, and the year after different again.
Family photography sessions are relaxed and unhurried. We do not pose people like mannequins. We find a location that suits your family, let you be yourselves, and capture the in-between moments — the laughter, the looking, the small interactions that define you.
We offer outdoor sessions in gardens, parks and heritage areas across Ranchi, as well as home sessions for families who want a more natural setting.
Sessions work best in the golden hour — early morning or late afternoon — when the light is warm and flattering.

Popular family session locations in Ranchi include Nakshatra Van, Tagore Hill area, Hundru Falls surrounds, and private gardens. We know which locations have the best light at different times of day and will recommend accordingly.
Questions about family photography
What if my children don't cooperate?+
They almost never do — and it does not matter. The best family photographs come from the uncooperative moments. We are patient, we are experienced with children, and we will get the shots.
What should we wear?+
We send a wardrobe guide with your booking. Generally: coordinated but not matching, comfortable, no heavy patterns. Earthy tones and soft colours photograph beautifully at golden hour.
Can we include grandparents?+
Yes — and we strongly encourage it. Three-generation photographs are among the most treasured.
When is the best time of year?+
October to February has the best light and weather in Jharkhand. Avoid the monsoon season for outdoor sessions. Indoor and home sessions can be done year-round.
